React Development Services: Interfaces That Stay Fast and Maintainable

We build React applications in TypeScript: product dashboards, customer and patient portals, data-heavy interfaces and the component libraries behind them. We pick the right setup for each project, usually Next.js for anything public-facing, and modernise existing React codebases that have become slow or hard to change. Our engineering team is in Islamabad, Pakistan, and works with clients worldwide.

React Problems We Are Usually Asked to Solve

Unnecessary Re-Renders

State held too high in the tree, or one large context, makes every keystroke re-render half the page.

Stuck on Create React App

Create React App is deprecated for new apps (see the React team's announcement), leaving older projects on an unmaintained build setup.

Inconsistent Components

Five versions of the same button and modal, each with different accessibility behaviour and styling.

Form and Validation Bugs

Rules checked in the browser but not on the server, so bad data still reaches the database.

Actual Deliverables

What We Build With React

Product Dashboards

Data-dense tables, charts and filters that stay responsive with large datasets, using server-side aggregation and careful state design.

Customer and Patient Portals

Accessible, mobile-friendly portals for onboarding, documents and self-service. See customer portal development.

Component Libraries and Design Systems

Typed, documented components built on accessible headless primitives, matched to Figma tokens from our UI/UX design work.

Complex Forms and Workflows

Multi-step forms with React Hook Form and Zod, where the same schema validates input in the browser and on the server.

React Native Companion Apps

Mobile apps that share types and business logic with your React web app. See mobile app development.

Modernisation of Existing Apps

Create React App to Vite or Next.js, class components to hooks, and state management simplification, delivered incrementally.

Is React the Right Choice?

This is for you if

  • Your interface is the product

Complex forms, dashboards, tables and interactive workflows that need to stay responsive as features grow.

  • You want web and mobile from one team

React on the web and React Native on mobile let one TypeScript team share types, validation and business logic.

  • You need a reusable component library

Several products or teams should share consistent, accessible components instead of rebuilding them.

  • Your React app has become hard to change

Create React App, tangled global state or class components are slowing every release.

Not the right fit if

  • A mostly static content site

A few pages of text and images rarely need a React application; a CMS or static site builder is simpler.

  • Your team maintains another framework

If your engineers work in Vue or Angular and will own the code, building in their framework is usually the better long-term choice.

How a React Project Runs

01

Screens, State and Components

Plan

We agree the screens and user roles, decide where each piece of state lives (server, URL, local or shared), and define the component inventory before building.

02

Components First, Then Screens

Build

Shared, accessible components are built and reviewed first, then assembled into screens, with progress shown in bi-weekly video walkthroughs.

03

Performance, Accessibility and Handover

Harden

We profile rendering, check keyboard and screen reader behaviour, then hand over documentation and the component library in repositories you own.

Architecting AI Dev Planner: Bridging the Gap Between Concept and Deployment

Business Problem

Runaway scope creep caused by a lack of upfront technical validation: founders guess at server architectures, misallocate budgets to unnecessary features, and delay database structuring until midway through a build.

Executed Deliverables

Risk Vectors

Migrating and Modernising React Codebases

Leaving Create React App

We move CRA projects to Vite for apps behind a login, or to a framework such as Next.js where server rendering helps, in line with the React team's guidance on creating a React app.

Class Components to Hooks

Class components still work, so we convert them gradually as screens are touched, starting with the ones that change most often, rather than in a big-bang rewrite.

Simplifying State Management

Server data moves into a data-fetching layer or Server Components, form state into the form library, and only genuinely shared client state stays global.

Technical Defense

Architecture and Performance in React

Server Components Where Available

With a framework that supports them, React Server Components render on the server and send no component JavaScript to the browser, which keeps data-heavy pages lighter.

Measured, Not Guessed, Performance

We profile before optimising. Memoisation is applied where profiling shows it helps, and the React Compiler can automate much of it in supported setups.

Accessibility Built In

Keyboard navigation, focus management, labels and contrast are part of each component, not a later audit. Our patient portal work targeted WCAG 2.1 AA for an older user group.

Validation on Both Sides

The same Zod schema validates forms in the browser and requests on the server, so client-side checks are a convenience, not the only defence.

Common Questions

Should we use React on its own or with Next.js?+
For public-facing apps where search visibility and first-load speed matter, we recommend React with a framework such as Next.js, which the React documentation also recommends for new apps. For tools that sit entirely behind a login, a client-rendered React app built with Vite is simpler and works well. We make the call per project and explain the trade-offs.
Can you migrate our app off Create React App?+
Yes. Create React App is deprecated for new projects, and most apps can move to Vite with limited code changes, or to Next.js if server rendering would help. We migrate on a branch, keep behaviour identical, update tests and build pipelines, and release when everything matches the current production version.
Can you build both our web app and mobile app?+
Yes. We build web apps in React and mobile apps in React Native with Expo, sharing TypeScript types, validation schemas and business logic between them. The interfaces are built separately so each feels native to its platform.
Do you build accessible React interfaces?+
Yes. Accessibility is built into components from the start: semantic markup, keyboard navigation, focus management and sufficient contrast. Our patient intake portal case study was designed against WCAG 2.1 AA because a large share of its users were over 65.
Our React app is slow. Can you fix it without a rewrite?+
Usually, yes. Most slowness comes from a handful of causes: too much state in global stores, large components re-rendering on every change, heavy third-party libraries or data fetched in the browser that could be fetched on the server. We profile the app, fix the biggest issues first and show the difference before moving on.
Can you work with our in-house developers?+
Yes. We can build features alongside your team in your repository, following your conventions and code review process, or take ownership of a defined part of the product. Either way you get a dedicated Slack channel and bi-weekly video walkthroughs.
Where is your team based?+
Our engineering team is in Islamabad, Pakistan, and we work with clients worldwide, including the UK, US and the Gulf. You work directly with the engineers on your project, with overlapping working hours agreed at the start.
